Donna Westering Donna Belle Westering lived life proclaiming "Cast your bread upon the waters and it will come back with strawberry jam," always believing that The Lord would bless those who put their faith in Him! She was (and still is) a servant of Jesus, a wife of over 60 years, a mother of...

Not sure what to say?

We send our condolence to the Westering Family in this time of transition and home going of Donna. Donna, as well as Frosty, had a very special place in my life. They not only impacted my life but also the lives of all those I come in contact with. Donna and Frosty showed me love when others failed to do so. Both symbolized the epitome of God's Love in action. I was shaped by God but sharpened by Donna and Frosty. They pulled the best out of me and taught me how to succeed in life...

She will be missed by all. So thankful to all of your family for including our family for those wonderful football memories. She was a wonderful example of a servants heart. We love you all and you're in our prayers.

Our family was blessed to meet Donna Belle through our homeschool basketball team. Her daughter and son-in-law were the coaches and her granddaughters were on the team with our girls. We got to spend extensive time together at Nationals. Frosty and Donna blessed the families so much with their faith, love, wisdom and encouragement. Donna had such a gentleness and love for God that was so contagious! Donna Belle, ever confidence that you are loving the best jam ever! See you on the other...

I hold sweet memories of Donna's warm hospitality, her laughter, her delicious tacos, her sacrificial and joy-filled devotion to Frosty, and her passionate adoration and love for each of her children. Praying for each of you in the loss of your beautiful mother. May the Lord bring continual comfort to your hearts, and much tender joy in each remembrance. Lovingly, Amy Parks Mardock

The Barnett family would like to send our condolences to the Westering family. we will miss seeing her in the stands at the Rogers Basketlball games cheering on not only her granddaughter Jesse but the entire team. I only got to meet her and interact with her briefly at the games but she made a huge impact during that brief time. I can hear her saying " getting old isn't for sissies". She is with the Lord and her beloved husband Frosty, in that order.
When we all get to heaven

Donna was a gift to all who knew her. We were fortunate to share many great PLU years together. She was a blessing to so many. Our love to all of her family members.

Donna's obituary is beautiful. It was nice to learn more wonderful things about her that my daughters and I didn't know. She was one special Christian lady! She loved JESUS, Frosty and her children and extended family just as God taught her too.
Her big, happy smile and constant enthusiasm for everyone she met made you feel like you were the most important person in the world! She shined for Jesus in all she did, living out Matthew 5:16
humbly as the servant of our Lord that she was!...

What a loss! Take care. Julie Johnston

I was blessed to have Donna (Mama Westering) come into my life as I entered the crazy Junior High years. Dr. David Olson - Athletic Director at PLU - asked me to be a "pen pal" with Stacey before they moved to Washington. When they arrived in Parkland, Donna welcomed me with open arms for many after school snacks, soap operas, laughter and faith conversations. Peace to the family. You will be missed Donna, but we'll see you in His Kingdom.
