I worked with Donna Rae at Kmart at the Snack Bar, I really enjoyed working with her, she had a great sense of humor and we passed the time people watching. Sorry for your loss.

Can't believe this has happened. so sad miss you I remember when you told me you got married

I met and sometimes ate lunch with Donna Rae at Hannah Penn Junior High School. Later, in the early 70's, we worked together at Tower of Pizza.

Gosh, I'm shocked and saddened. I went into the subway today and couldn't believe what has happened. I spoke to Donna often and had even entrusted her once to hang onto a gift card I purchased for a homeless man named Charlie that goes there often. She told me she'd hang onto it for him and give it to him when she saw him in there next. I told her "I know you will Donna, you are extremely trustworthy". I called a few weeks later and asked for her, when she came to the phone, she knew exactly...

My sincere condolences to Donna Rae's family. I knew her from visiting Subway. I always enjoyed chatting with her. I was amazed that she remembered the names of many customers. I will miss her very much.

What heartbreaking news. I remember hearing about the story when it first broke, before names were released, but had no idea it was them. My father was childhood friends with Donna Rae and that friendship continued into their adulthood. As a little girl I remember frequent family get togethers and BBQs and often asking if my parents, sister, and I could all visit Donna Rae's house where we would have a blast with her doing hair, nails, and makeup.
