Not sure what to say?

Dear Faye,
It was a pleasant surprise each time we saw the ‘Bruners’ in Slocomb. You and Donny always greeted us with big smiles and no hint of sadness, therefore, we had no idea he was sick. Both of you looked happy and healthy.

After reading the obituary I understand why. Donny knew he would have the sweet sleep the bible speaks of, and awake to a glorified body, with no more pain. Praise the Lord!

Troy and family, I just heard about Donny. I am so sorry for your loss. Donny was a precious person and will be missed by many. I was honored to be a friend of his. Let me know if you need anything.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all right now.

Donny was such a fine man and always a gentleman to everyone during our years at Cottonwood High School. You could certainly depend on him when there was a need. This type of man will surely be missed and my prayers and thoughts are with the family during this difficult time.

Faye, I have just heard about Donny. I am so sorry, I know how special he was. My thoughts and prayers are with ya'll, hold fast to the wonderful memories that he has left ya'll and know that he watches over ya'll with our heavenly father. I pray for the Lord to give each one of ya'll comfort, as only he can do.

Fay, we are sorry to hear of your loss. We loved Donny, and enjoyed fellowship with him at Calvary. We were out of town this weekend visiting our daughter and son-in-law in Hattiesburg, MS. We were unable to come to the services, but you were in our thoughts and prayers. May God bless you and keep you.

We remember the days we were neighbors, always a smile on Donny's face and a joke. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Faye and family.
