Not sure what to say?

My heart aches without you in our lives. I know that one day we will be together again. I miss and love you so much. Give a big hug to Michael. Love ya DAD!

Donovan holds a special place in our hearts. Our Mom, Verona Watson, lived across the hall from him and Dorothy at Brighton Court. We looked forward to seeing him each time we visited, as he was so kind, helpful, and positive about life. We can't mention Donovan without a smile and a chuckle! We remember him now with love and respect. We extend our sympathies to Dorothy and family.

I love dad for all time and eternity. Until we meet again I hold you in my heart. Love your daughter Diane

You were the world's greatest grandpa and I'm so glad you were mine! I'm missing you every single day and there isn't a single minute that goes by that I am not thinking about you. Rest in peace and I'll see you soon one day, but not too soon. Thank you for everything. I love and miss you so much Papa.

I worked at Brighton Court when Don and Dorothy lived there. Donovan was so special to my husband and I. Our wedding anniversaries were 2 days apart and Don would always send us a anniversary card. He also sent us birthday cards each year as well as each of my children along with a dollar for each year of their age. He was a very sweet man. He would always pop his head in the kitchen to request me to make his favorite bread pudding. I will make some this weekend and smile while thinking of...

Thanks for being a great man and I am sure proud you are my Grandpa. Love ya Papa.

Dear Family,
I am a close friend of Diane's and want to express my sympathy to all of you. You will miss him but he is in a peaceful place now. God bless all of you. May God provide the comfort you need at this time.

Dear Himebaugh Family, What a sad time for you all. Donavan will be missed so very much. He was such a bright light in our lives and so extremely kind to my mother-in-law, Verona Watson. Sadly we won't be able to drink the bottle of Cutty Sark Scotch Whiskey we were saving for his 100th birthday. Boy he gave it one helluva run. What a ride, I was so happy to be around for some of it. Donavan always brought a smile to my face and warmth to my heart. I have so many fond memories and we had so...

We love you Dad; you are missed.
