Dora T. Falcone

Dora T. Falcone 91, of Wayne, PA and Loveladies, NJ passed away peacefully at her home on January 9, 2012. Dora was born in Strafford, PA on December 3, 1920 to Lucia (ne Manzi) and Louis Natale. Dora attended the Tredyffrin- Easttown schools and then entered the medical technician program at Hahnemann Hospital in Philadelphia. Dora was predeceased by her beloved husband, Vincent. She is survived by her two sons, Tony (Bill (dec'd)) and Dick (Julie), and daughter Carol Fetter (Ken), and her four grandchildren, Ken, Beth (Pat), Rick (Marty), and Courtney (Pete). Her friends and family knew her for her open home, her love of traveling the world with Vince, her passion for the Philadelphia Flyers and Phillies, winters in Key West, FL, and as a talented painter. But most of all Dora will be remembered for her love of cooking. Whether it was in Wayne or on LBI, Dora's home was always full and her table a place to gather and share laughter. Dora and Vince began the family Christmas celebration of the Feast of the Seven Fishes which she helped prepare with her family for the 63rd consecutive time this year. Dora was the family matriarch who always kept her family in touch with their Italian heritage while creating new traditions that will live on for many generations. Friends and family are invited to her viewing Friday January 13, 10:00-11:00AM at Central Baptist Church in Wayne and a memorial service immediately following. An internment will take place at Calvary Cemetery in West Conshohocken.
