Dora L. Lambert, 88, formerly of Corpus Christi, died on April 12, 2017, at Cumberland Trace in Indiana. She was born on April 4, 1929, in San Antonio, to the late Alfred and Virginia (Herrera) Lee.
Dora graduated from Brackenridge High School in San Antonio and worked as a secretary for Civil Service at Randolph Air Force Base for 17 years. Full of life, she was bubbly, classy and had a contagious smile. Dora held memberships at St. Pius Catholic Church, Sultana de Baza and the Women's Circle of Corpus.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Col. (Ret) Raymond Lambert and brother, Robert Lee.
Survivors include her daughter, Linda McKee (husband, Gary) of Monrovia; grandsons, Brian McKee (Jennifer) and Jared McKee (Angela); and 6 great.
Visitation will begin at Noon, on Friday, April 21st, at St. Pius Catholic Church in Corpus Christi, with a Rosary held at 1pm. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 2:00 p.m., with burial following in Memory Gardens. www.lightmemorial.com or www.dignitymemorial.com/memory-gardens-funeral-home.

My condolences to the family of Dora Lambert. I knew Mrs. Lambert for many years when she resided in Corpus Christi. My siblings, Jessica, Henry, and I called her Aunt Dora. Aunt Dora was beautiful, charming, very classy and was a joy to be with. It was so easy to love her. Our family was enriched by her friendship and love for family and friends. Heaven has gained a new Angel. Until we meet again, Aunt Dora, always in my heart and never forgotten.
