Your recipes were the best!

Her loss is very saddening for many. She brought lots of tastebuds to life with her wonderful creation, greenbean casserole, and she was a lovely person. At Job 33:25, it promises that elderly ones will return to the days of their youthful vigor, which, considering the hardships that old age brings, will be beneficial. I hope her family is comforted by these words.

As newlyweds in 1979, we went to my husband's aunt & uncle's home in Texas for a visit and she served the most wonderful green bean casserole! I had never heard of it before and we all loved it! Now, I serve it at every special occasion and everyone loves it. My condolences to the family on the loss of a dear lady who has brought so much joy to many people on so many occasions.

Thank you Doris for your green bean casserole which so many love. May God comfort the family to know that you will see your dear loved on again. Psalms 116:15.

My condolences to all her love ones. May happy memories and comforting scriptures from the Bible bring peace during this time of sorrow. BM

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Dear Sweet Lady,
Do you realize how many homes have made your simple, yet fabulous, recipe a tradition in their homes? Not only for Thanksgiving, but perfect at most any dinner. It was truly an inspired combination. You are part of Americana, just like apple pie and baseball.
I'm sure you are meeting plenty of angels in heaven who are asking for your autograph. :o)
To your family and friends, I send my sympathies. I am certain they miss your love and creativity.

My condolences to the family at this difficult time.
