Not sure what to say?

My thoughts are prayers are with the Bland family. I was in Mrs. Bland's shorthand class back in the early 80's at JSRCC. I have often thought of her in the last 20+ years. What fond memories of a wonderful teacher.

I sent a card to the hospital which I wanted the family to read to Ms. Bland. The card was returned to me. I will be sending the card to the family this week.

Ms. Bland was a real pioneer for employees in the Business Division at JSRCC. She nurtured her peers and students. I can see her walking real fast to her next class as only she could walk (smile).

Ms. Bland, because of you I excelled not only at JSR but everywhere God sends me to "teach/train".

Thank you...

Cousin Eugene,
I was truly saddened to hear of your loss. My prayer is that God will surround you and your family with his everlasting love. Even now, God is faithful in that He will never leave you, nor forsake you. Take comfort in knowing that sorrow is today, but precious memories are forever.
Warmest regards,
Cousin Fannie Clyrice Tucker Ackerman

The Northern Virginia Chapter, Virginia State University Alumni Association understands your pain and sends our condolences.
