Vernon, I am so sorry for your loss, I am so glad I got to meet you and Doris the first time last december at the get together at the museum when I brought your sister Mrs. Jean you both were very nice to me and then when I brought mrs. Jean to Doris's sisters funeral and the get together at the home of one of the children later. It has been a pleasure meeting both of you and I want you to know I care very deeply for your sister and I'm here to help her in any way I can. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. And as you told me at Glady's funeral you will never forget my name because it was the same as your mothers.
God bless you and your family.Shirley Childers

Steve
I just found out about your mom. I remember her as a "spunky" little lady when I helped your folks on the lake house.
You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
