Not sure what to say?

Simply the best teacher I ever had. She was a bright light that shined on all. RIP sweet lady. Danny Walton class of 1975

Mrs Countee was a great Sunday School Teacher.

My thoughts and prayers are with her friends and family. She was a beloved teacher at Lee HS. Therese Klingler Baer

My sincere condolences to the Countee Family and her brother Charles Earle whom I attended school. I pray that God grants each of you his peace and everlasting grace.

Miss Countee was my 10th grade biology teacher in 1973. I remember her well for her enthusiasm, intelligence and her friendly manner. She was a GOOD teacher! God is blessing her still. Stephen Paine

In 1973, I was a senior at Houston's Robert E Lee High School and the best class in the school was her Oceanography class. She took us on field trips and the class was so much fun because of her. I have never forgotten her and prey for her family. She was truly special and will be missed by all that knew her. A sweet and fun loving Lady. We will all be reunited together one day. Rest in Peace Ms. Countee... Steve 'Genghis' Kahn (aka in her class - Sea Turtle)

Sincere Condolences to the family of Mrs. Doris Countee. May your soul Rest in Peace. It is my prayer that God's protection completely surrounds this entire family and His Heavenly angels' comfort each and every one in this family and those whose life she touched.

Condolences to the family. Ms. Countee was my biology teacher at Booker T. Washington HS. She challenged me to make good grades as one of her students. I still remember her strong voice of encouragement.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. She was once my teacher and church member.
