Dear Lester and family, I would like to extend to you my most heartfelt sympathies on the passing of Doris. I only knew Doris in high school but I had been impressed with her keen mind and warm ways. Since then I have enjoyed many hearing delightful things about her.
Lester, I wish I could give you a big hug --- not that it would change anything, but I know how much you are hurting. I send you my love, sympathy and prayers. I'm glad you have the children and their families nearby ......

To Jill Mandik and Family- Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your whole family. Special prayers for you, your brother, sister and father during this time. We didn't know your mother well, but she raised a wonderful family full of love, and she is smiling down proud. Our love to you all.

Dear Mr. Hagan,Donna, Bob,Timmy, Ruth, Jill, John, and all those darling grankids,
We hardly can find the right words to express how deeply sorry we all are. We loved Doris so much. She was amazing and special. She always made us feel so welcome. She was so fun, and always made us laugh. I loved cutting her hair because she always had so many stories for me. I felt like I was part of the family. She was just like that...she had a way of making everyone feel like they were her best...
