Not sure what to say?

Thomas, Sandra, & Janet,
Wish I could have said this at the funeral, but I knew I would never get it all out. Your mom and your whole family are very special to Rocky, Jesse, and me. I feel like you have helped raise our son, Jesse. He's been coming to Home Folk's to "visit" for a long time. Thanks to you all . Doris will always be very special to us and so will each of you. We love you!
Rocky, LeNita, & Jesse Painter

Dear Thomas, Sandra and Janet, so sorry to hear about your Mom. We knew she was ill, and heard of her passing when we were leaving town. I know you all will miss her dearly, and that you will keep her in your hearts always. She sure did enjoy being with you all and nothing pleased her more than your travels together. I know she would want you to continue to travel and have fun together and to enjoy time off from the restaurant. We are praying for consolation in your sorrow. Love, Bob...

So sorry for your loss. I will always keep the wonderful memories alive in my heart of our reunions and happy times. Much love, Kelly & Deborah Holcombe, Dallas.NC

Janet, Sandra, and Thomas,
I was very sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. I was out of town for a few days and when I returned I heard of your loss. I just wanted you all to know that you are in my prayers and i my heart at a time like this...

So sorry about Doris. I didn't know until I saw the news story on WBTV. My prayers are with you children. Melinda Poole

Janet, Sandra and Thomas,
Our visits to Home Folks wont be the same without your mamma there. I know it will be difficult for you all. We think the world of your family and hold you in our thoughts and prayers. Love Fran, John and Jim Senters

My family and I have you in our thoughts and prayers. Doris will be missed at Homefolks and the community. We are so sorry for your loss. I brought my grandson, Hunter, every Wednesday morning for prayer breakfast and Doris usually would give him bubble gum. She was a special lady.

Janet & Sandra, I am so sorry to hear about your mother. I just head about it yesterday, which was Sunday. I will keep both of you & your family in my prayers. I always enjoyed going into Home Folks & talking to all of you. She will be missed! Terry Hoyle

I am sorry for your loss. St. John's prayer breakfast group is so grateful for Homefolks over the years and especially of Doris. Peace be with your family and the family at Homefolks. You are in our thoughts and prayers.
