My fondest memory of Doris and Kenny was at our house in New Jersey when Doris introduced us to Kenny. He was in his white Navy uniform and they were sitting on the steps between the living room and dining room that led to the upper level. I remember how happy they both were. Doris's eyes were gleaming and she was happier than I had ever seen her. There they were, two young people about to start their lives together.
