Doris LaRue Obituary
Doris Ethel LaRue, 74, of Lebanon Junction returned to her Heavenly Father Thursday, December 1, 2016.
Memorial service will be conducted 4:00 p.m. Saturday, December 10, 2016 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy at Brooks Rd) where visitation will take place from 12 p.m. until the time of the service.

I always enjoyed talking to your mother at conferences at Lebanon Junction elementary. She always had a smile on her face, and a joyful attitude.

My fondest memory of Doris and Kenny was at our house in New Jersey when Doris introduced us to Kenny. He was in his white Navy uniform and they were sitting on the steps between the living room and dining room that led to the upper level. I remember how happy they both were. Doris's eyes were gleaming and she was happier than I had ever seen her. There they were, two young people about to start their lives together. For fifty four years they had a life together, now they have eternity. My wife Cathy and I wish to express our condolences to their family.
