Doris and my mom, Ruth Barrett of Chester, were in the Hi-Line Ladies Aid together then in later years Doris and I were in UMW together at Christ United Methodist Church, Gt. Falls. She lived about 4 blocks from me so I'd see her quite often but then we lost track of each other when she sold her home. Then, a couple months ago, I found Doris at the Eagles and with pad and pencil I was able to explain how we knew each other. I'll not forget her big smile and pat on the hand.

We offer our sincere sympathy on the loss of your Mother, Doris. She was such a nice lady. We are grateful that we got to see her this summer even though it was brief.

I am very sorry to hear about the passing of Doris. I met her when I worked at the Eagles. She always made me laugh..
