Dottie,
My condolences to you and all your family. May your memories of your mother be always near and good, as though she is not apart from you, just in the next room.

Your mother was a very special lady and we enjoyed her friendship. She is now with friends and she knows all of them by name. So sorry we cannot attend the celebration of her life. Our son, that is in the Navy, is flying in at that time, for his Christmas visit.

Dottie, Bobby and Dennis, I was so sorry to learn that you lost your mom this week. Doris was one of my favorite aunts and I know she and my mother, Betty, were friends as well as relatives nearly their whole lives. I will miss her wonderful sense of humor and fun. I think she and my dad, Neil, were more alike than any of the other Faircloth siblings and conspired together in mischief-making as children AND as adults. I will treasure my memories of them.
