Dottie,
My condolences to you and all your family. May your memories of your mother be always near and good, as though she is not apart from you, just in the next room.

I was so sorry to hear that Doris had passed. My dad thought the world of her.

Your mother was a very special lady and we enjoyed her friendship. She is now with friends and she knows all of them by name. So sorry we cannot attend the celebration of her life. Our son, that is in the Navy, is flying in at that time, for his Christmas visit.

Dottie, Bobby and Dennis, I was so sorry to learn that you lost your mom this week. Doris was one of my favorite aunts and I know she and my mother, Betty, were friends as well as relatives nearly their whole lives. I will miss her wonderful sense of humor and fun. I think she and my dad, Neil, were more alike than any of the other Faircloth siblings and conspired together in mischief-making as children AND as adults. I will treasure my memories of them.

Hello Ms Grant, I'm very sorry about the passing of your Mom. My Mother, had she lived, would have been the same age as yours. In addition to my condolences, I'm also writing to ask if you are the Dorothy Walsak I once knew way back - I mean really way back - when we were children. I am Bobby Barefoot and your name seems to come to mind whenever I think about my early grade school and/or kindergarten years. So forgive me if you are not the young lady I once knew, but if you are, I'm just saying 'hello',. wishing you the best and again I'm sorry (whether I knew you or not) about the passing of your Mom. I think your Mom and mine were good friends during our childhood years as my Mom frequently mentioned her and you to me, reminding me of our very early friendship.

Sincerely,

Bob Barefoot

Dottie, Bobby, Dennis, and your extended families...please know that you are in my thoughts. I was so sad when I learned Aunt Doris had passed from life as we know it. May the good and warm memories of the vibrant mother and grandmother Aunt Doris was be comforting to you and may God's peace be yours at this time.
Love,
Barbara
