I am sorry that I will be out of town on Nov. 12th and will be unable to attend the service for Doris. I recall some long conversations with her that proved her wit and knowledge of the world. Doris was a gem! Always proper, but she was also a ready fountain of clever zingers to surprise us and make us laugh. She lived her life well, better than many of us. May you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends, but especially in the knowledge that she belongs to our Lord and is with Him even now.

I always felt welcomed & loved by your mom. Her sense of humor held out to the very end. She will be missed, until we meet again at the feet of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Hugs to the whole family!

What an inspirational life! I remember going on one of those golfing trips with my best friend Pat and collecting tees! And camping at Oleo Acres.
