As a representative of the Flatwater Waves Unit #98, I express our condolences to the family of Dorithy. She belonged to our WAVE group, but we didn't have the opportunity to see her much. I am sure she had an interesting History story to tell.

Dorithy taught us so much during our time together in DC. We Nebraskans were family there. We were at dinner together and toasted Elisabeth's birth, and Dorithy was "Grandma Dorithy" to our two daughters when they were young.
Although we didn't stay close, Dorithy was still our good friend. We will miss her, as you will.
We hope, as you celebrate her life now, you know she was loved by many of us.

Dear kids - I am her cousin Jolene (Johnson) Anderson from Gothenburg Nebraska. Yes she was a classy lady - as a child she was always the elegant one to come from the "big city" to see Grandma and the family.
