I saved many of her many of her emails to me, and am eternally grateful for her help. To this day, I continue the work because of her. I only regret we did not meet in person.

Many years ago..I think over 20 years..Dorothy , Susan Shock and I got together for lunch and went over what we knew of our Terpening ancestors( Susans' and my husbands) hoping for a push in the direction that would help us find more information.
Dorothy was as gracious a lady as I've ever met, smart and funny also.
The Dutch Colonies list was the basis of our commonality and we had a great time talking genealogy.
Not only will the world we live in miss this beautiful, knowledgable...

Lowell Class of Spring 1950
Dorothy was at Lowell High School with me from 1948 to 1950. I graduated a year later.
Although we never met, it is always sad to see a classmate pass away. My heart goes out to the family for the loss.
