Louisville - 92, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2018.
Dorothy was born on December 29, 1925 in Campbellsville, KY to the late N.B. and Emma Karnes. She was a member of Jeffersontown Methodist Church, and is preceded in death by her daughter, Trina Brown, sisters, Emily Cundiff and Louise Phillips; and her brother, James Karnes.
Here to carry on her beautiful memory are her husband of 66 years, Ansul Curry Jr.; children, Sharon Cundiff (Mike), Carol Smith (Tom) and Ron Curry (Terry); grandchildren, Rachel Cundiff, Marissa Cundiff, David Curry, Jessica Curry, Kristin Smith, Brandon Smith and Justin Brown; along with her 9 great grandchildren.
A visitation will take place on Friday, March 30th from 4-8pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. A service celebrating Dorothy's life will be held at 12pm on Saturday, March 31st at the funeral home, with entombment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
Expressions of sympathy may be directed to Hosparus of Louisville or the Altenheim Nursing Home.
