DOROTHY PAGE NICHOLS

Think it was around 1970-1971 when integration came about and the 7th-8th grade classes were sent to Rowland School from Southside and were in my class. The girls were in separate classes due to so many students with Ms. Louise Adams and Ms. Nichols was over all the boys. Mrs. Nichols was my 4th grade teacher at Southside Middle School in the late 70s. She was the last of the "ole school" teachers. She did not play and the kids knew this fact. All it took was one look from Mrs. Nichols and it was over for you. Glad she was my teacher.
