My sweet Dottie and I became friends in First Grade at St. Martin of Tours School. She grabbed my hand one day and said, "Do you want to come play at my house?" I said yes so from 1946 to 2017 we have been close friends. Dottie understood the meaning of Life. May she rest in peace.

It was great when my two best friends married each otherso much easier on those trips back to Philly over the years, only one place to go to see both of you. And you always had some neat place that you had found to go in the early years, and then great meals at home in the later years. You both were a welcome refuge where I could retreat from the Air Force for a few, brief moments.
