Dorothy Wallace Obituary

ODESSA On Saturday morning, November 3, 2012, Dorothy Wallace, 85, passed away at Deerings Nursing Home.

She was born on January 22, 1927, to Lucille and Clarence E. Hooper in Bloomburg, Tx.

She is survived by her son: Robert Oneil Adcock and wife Judy Marie of Lubbock Tx.; daughters: Martha "Ann" Swinney and husband Michael P. of Dripping Springs, Tx., Darlene Davis and husband Jimmy Dale of Roby, Tx.; brother: Carol Gene Hooper of Arkansas; 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.

She was a member of Tops Club, she volunteered at the Globe Theatre and worked for the Brownie Shop.

Visitation will be held at Hubbard Kelly Funeral Home on Monday, November 5, 2012, from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 6, 2012, at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jimmy Davis officiating.

Music by Rev. Jimmy Davis and Rev. Britt and Kristal Peavy.

Services are entrusted to Hubbard Kelly Funeral Home.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all today as you say goodbye to your mom. We all have special memories and those good memories help us to go on. Shes in a better place and I know she has a very special angel waiting to greet her with open arms in Heaven. Love you all

I remember Dorothy's smile and laughter the most. She always made me feel like part of her family when I was around. She and Mr. Adcock practically raised my brother and I know Mike loved her dearly. Dorothy will be remembered always. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family with love.
