Not sure what to say?

Dot made the best peanut bridle in the world. She and Lewis were a splendid couple doing good all over Charlotte. They had great children. They were a gift of God to many folks. Libba and I loved them , felt that we were honored to be their friends and admirers. Steve Griffith

Dot was so much fun! Every time she and Mr. Camp would run into my mom and dad, she'd try her best to get dad to go square dancing, to which he'd vigorously refuse! It was so funny to watch those two. The world is a better place for having known Dot. My prayers are with Lewis and the family.

Dot was one lovely person. A giver rather than a taker. She was a Christian in her heart, her person and every thing she did. Loved her family, church and friends. Fun to be with and a great cook, making the best peanut brittle in the world. She and Lewis were among the finest people in my life. The world is much richer for their lives. Libba and I adored them. We send the family our love and prayers. God bless. Steve Griffithu

Dot was the founder of "The Steele Creek Fleet." We always laughed that when a man turned 65, he bought a pick-up truck. ALL Dot's friends were over 65, so she made sure their trucks were filled with corn, tomatoes and peaches. She did more to fight hunger with her trucks than every committee meeting that was ever held.

The Community Culinary School was blessed to share many great hunger fighting moments with Dot & Louis.Forever in our Hearts and Prayers. CCSC Friends

Dot was a great friend, inspiring us with her love, faith and generosity. And she was so much fun! We enjoyed many meals, conversations and travels with Dot and Lou and will forever treasure them in our hearts
