Not sure what to say?

The other day, I thought back to the Late 70s, when Mr. and Mrs. Ivey's family took me in for a few months because I needed a place to stay. I just found out about his passing. I shall never forget the kindness shown to me during my time of need. God bless his family.

We are so sorry to hear of Brother Doug's passing. I know days ahead for all the family will be difficult at times but, with prayer and friends to lean on God will see each of you through. Our love and prayers are with each of you during this time and for the days ahead. Tim and Kathy Bateman

So very sad to hear about the passing of Mr. Ivey.I did not know him that well ,however i worked with his son Wayne at G.R.Davis back in the 1970`s.My sympathy goes out to you Wayne and family.

I am so sorry to hear about Doug's passing. We have fond memories of him when we all went to Great Bridge Church of God together. I remember him always smiling and kidding around with my kids. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Maria McMillan and family

We are so very sorry for your loss. You and your family will be in our prayers, especially for the hard days ahead. May you find comfort in knowing that Doug is now at rest and that one day you will see him again.

I will miss talking to Doug at the YMCA where I saw him often. My prayers go out to the family. I am so very sorry.

We never had the pleasure of knowing Mr. Ivey, but my wife and I are friends of his son Jeff and his fiancé Leah. We wish you peace during this time of loss and hope that you find comfort among your family and friends as you celebrate his life. Please accept our deepest sympathies. May God bless you all.

I pray that God's peace will surround you and the family at this time. Run into his arms and he will comfort you and his Holy Spirit will fill you with that peace that passes all understanding.

Doug was a beautiful person. He always had a smile on his face and full of compliments. He was a bright light here at Western Branch Diesel, Inc. I especially am saddened to here of his passing and my thoughts and prayers are with all of his family especially Pat his wife.
