Not sure what to say?

Douglas was my "Ancestry" friend, and I am so very sad tonight to find that he passed away. I have a Bohn great-great-grandmother, and he helped place her into the tree with her brothers and sisters. Douglas certainly had a multitude of family who welcomed him to his heavenly home, but his earthly family feels a tremendous loss. I offer my heartfelt condolences and prayers that God will continue to comfort you.

I would always see Doug in church on Sundays..he never missed a mass. I always respected that in Doug.
Rest in peace!

Daddy, I miss you everyday. You were my rock and best friend. I love you!!

It is with sadness that I share with you the passing of Doug Bohn on Friday. Doug was one of Sacred Heart University's original employees and he spent his entire career here. He began in 1964 as a mathematics professor and ended his 45 years with the University as assistant vice president of Academic Affairs and University registrar. Over the years the University honored him by naming the “Doug Bohn Unsung Hero Award” after him and by bestowing on him an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters.

Sorry for your loss, Carole , may God bless and keep you and the Family.

Thank you,

I worked for Mr. Bohn (always called him Mr., never Doug)in the Registrar's Office as a student from 1970 to 1972, and as his assistant from 1972 until 1978. We always used to call him "Mr. Memory" - he had the uncanny ability to remember all the students and their individual situations. He was a lovely man to work for. I learned a great deal from him - he was my first boss - and I have many fond memories. Rest in Peace, Mr. Bohn.
