Douglas Dean Carver

I am heartbroken to learn of Doug´s passing - the same year I lost my father. I dated Doug for a short time when he was a dental student at (then) Baylor where I was secretary to one of the deans. I remember that Doug smiled all over his face. He gamely accompanied me to at least one party with my actor friends (I also performed comedy) and always meant to take me sailing but we never quite did that.
