I was greatly saddened to hear of the loss of our beloved Doug. He inspired us all and aided my life significantly with his words of wisdom. I have lost the dearest, kindest, most honorable friend that a man can have.
All of us who knew him are diminished to lose this swell friend, who had a genuine interest in and respect for us all (no matter how much we disagreed), a twinkle in his eye, a voluminous repertoire of jokes that only he could tell, and personal integrity that none of us can match. So long, Doug. So sorry Ann, Holly and the family.

The photo is such a good one - captures the sparkle, openness and "good cheer" that Doug always had. Knowing Doug was to feel inspired to contribute my own time and talents to passions since he so clearly was always generous with his. It was also to know that you would be teased :), but with such kindness you never cared. And, Doug definitely met his match when he met Ann. What a complentary couple they were. Much love and support to Ann and family and thank you Doug for all the Good Cheer.
