I am so fortunate to have known Doug. He was always there to help when there was something to be done, or a kind word to be said. You are deeply missed, but will never leave my heart. God bless you and your family.

So sorry to hear about Cousin Doug's passing. I know that he suffered many years from COPD. At family gatherings he always had a smile on his face and a quiet grace about him. As said so eloquently in the obituary, now he can rest and breathe easy.

You were a great guy and neighbor and I'll miss you alot.

Through time, Doug became a part of our family! He was our neighbor for several years. He gave without ever asking for much. He was a good man!! My heart breaks for his family, as our familys hearts are broken too. I keep catching myself crying. It's hard to drive by his home... I have to look away.
Missing our Dougy!! My prayers go out to his family.
He's up in heaven now... I hope he's looking down and seeing how much we all love and miss him!!!
