Douglas Lockwood Obituary



Douglas Leonard Lockwood Douglas L. Lockwood, 79, of Round Rock, Texas, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2007. Born September 15, 1927, in Hurley, New York, Douglas was the son of John Leonard Lockwood and Jennie Thielpape. He was a graduate of the U. S. Naval Academy and served his country during WWII. After his naval service, Mr. Lockwood became the eastern regional sales manager for Bendix Aviation. He is survived by, Betty, his wife of 53 years of Round Rock; daughter, Merri Crawley and husband Stephen and their children, John and Bridget; son, Douglas Lockwood and wife Teresa of Laurel, Maryland; daughter, Elizabeth Gregory of Brandon, Mississippi and children, Nicole, Roger, and Christopher; son, Capt. John L. Lockwood, USNR and wife Amy of Alexandria, Virginia. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren. Mr. Lockwood will be inurned at the U. S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland.
