Not sure what to say?

Dear Lottie, I was reading the Prairie Harvester, (which I seldom do) and noticed that your Doug had passed away. It came as a rather sudden realization that two of my best friends, Doug and Fred Stidham are now with the Lord. What a trio of trouble we made when we decided to do stuff together at Prairie. Sometimes we stayed at his folks too late and ad to sneak in a window in order to get back in the dorm. We remember you both with such fondness, (and regret that we were so distanced...

Leoti,so sorry to read of your loss. Doug will be in our prayers. Edward and Janet R.

Dear Lottie - I just heard today of Doug's passing and wanted to drop you a line on behalf of our family to express our sincere sympathies to you and your's. I have so many wonderful memories of both of you, of course, but specifically have fond memories of playing football with Doug and Dave Pulliam in their backyards up on Prairie Heights. Doug would give each of us "young punks" specific routes to follow, drawn on the palm of his hands, and away we would go looking for that "pass" to...

Mark and I were very sorry to hear about Doug's passing. Unfortunately, we were out of town and unable to attend the services. We have many happy memories of being band parents together and our trip to Paris. Praying for your peace and comfort from faith and loving memories.

I have many memories of Doug during my High School / Bible School years at Prairie Bible Institute in Three Hills, Alberta Canada. We were "off campus staff kids" and enjoyed friendship with that in common. He will always be held in high esteem. What a kind and compassionate and healthy man. We have the common bond of Jesus Christ in our lives and I know he has shed his old body for a new and vibrant one. Loosing him makes our longing for heaven even greater.

Clint and I are sorry for your loss. Even though we know its temporary, it still hurts. Our prayers and deepest sympathy to all who love and miss him. Until we meet again, Rest In Peace, Doug.

Doug was and is truly one of a kind. He had kingly compassion, a great smile and was always up for conversation. My life was all the better because I could call Doug my friend. Prayers for Leoti, Jeff and extended family.

Leoti, Jeff and extended family - we extend to you our love, sympathy, thoughts and prayers.
