Pete:
My sister called me today to tell me about the loss of your son. My deepest sympathies to you and your family in this tragic loss. I am so saddened every time I hear of the loss of our young military personnel. Such a price to pay.

Sincerely, John Pedersen

Doug was my first crush back in 4th grade at Esperanza Elementary School. Together we took first place in the Olivia Newton John and John Travolta dance contest in Mrs. Garcia's class. He was such a sweet boy and will be truly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I knew Doug since elementary school and was suprised to come across this news this morning. My deepest condolences to all of his family. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. God Bless you all during this difficult time.
