Pete:
My sister called me today to tell me about the loss of your son. My deepest sympathies to you and your family in this tragic loss. I am so saddened every time I hear of the loss of our young military personnel. Such a price to pay.
Sincerely, John Pedersen

Sorry for the loss. I knew Doug for about 9 years now, he was my brother-in-law's best friend (Eddie Z). He would celebrate New Years with us and come to our kids birthday party's. He was family. Doug will be missed, but now the suffering is over.

Doug was my first crush back in 4th grade at Esperanza Elementary School. Together we took first place in the Olivia Newton John and John Travolta dance contest in Mrs. Garcia's class. He was such a sweet boy and will be truly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
