how can people who were once so close become so far apart? those are the words that echo through my mind since we heard just this weekend of doug's passing earlier this year. he was a sweetheart of a man and we have many, many fond memories of time spent with him! we will cherish those more so now! We last saw him 3 years ago and all he spoke if was his happiness with his life in Wisconsin! May you find comfort in the Lord's love and strength as you navigate life here on this earth...

I just heard the news and wanted to give a shout out to an old friend, one last time.
