So sorry to hear this, Doug knew my mom, Pat Broscius, who was also an MDJ and he said very kind things about her when she passed. Sending strength to Doug´s family and loved ones.

I got to know Doug through my brother and we both realized we shared the same ancestors who traveled here from Germany in the 1740´s. He was a great guy and I will miss seeing Doug here and there in our community. My condolences and prayers and best wishes for Doug´s family. Wally Schlegel

To the Schlegel Family, I am so sorry to hear about Doug's passing. I have know "Dougster" for many years, including the years spent with Easton PD all the way thru his Magistrate career. Doug was a great guy, he truly was one of the "good ones" and I will never forget how he helped me thru the hard times.
