Not sure what to say?

Dawn, Daphne, Doug, Dana, and families, We were saddened to hear about the death of your father. You have all experienced such loss of loved ones in the last few years, and we are sending you our prayers and condolences. We're thankful that we have been able to reconnect during the wonderful family reunions that we had in Red Bluff, and thanks to your families, in Humboldt Co. Doug impressed us with how family oriented he was and how much he loved all of you.
Our sympathy, Sandra and...

--Al Ratjen

Dear Schüler family,

Doug was a wonderful man a great equipment operator and most of all a great crew leader. Dear Schuler Family: I was so sorry to read of Doug's passing. I'm sure we all remember him as such a kind, unassuming & gentle man who would be eager to do anything to help. He was the backbone of our "coastal family reunions" & seemed so happy when we could all get together. I deeply regret not keeping in touch more frequently, but please know I am thinking about you all & wishing you peace & comfort. Your fond memories will sustain you all through this time.

With love &...

I worked with Doug at county public works and remember him as a kind, well-respected and hard working crew leader. My sympathies to his family for their loss.
