Not sure what to say?

Mom and dad are united again in Heaven. January 3, 2022 Dynamic Duo of Doug and Fay.

a poem for my big brother

So this is what the living do
day after day...
what you have given up and
do no more.
I REMEMBER YOU.
I MISS YOU.

I would be there again and again.
My heart's desire was for you not to be afraid.
You were so brave.
What made you smile?
What was behind the only tear I saw?
I had seen other tears, but
what was yours about?
I still wonder...
I am less without you.

When something needs fixin'...
When I hear...

I miss you Daddy. God it hurts but I know you are much happier now. You final wishes have been granted and I hope you are at peace. It is still hard to continue knowing you are not there for me to call. I miss you.

Fay, Mechelle, Tony, Christy and Bailey- We are praying for peace during this time of transition for your family. May God give you comfort now and always.

We heard of the news of Doug's death, thorugh mom, "Aunt Mickey", today. We send our condolences, and prayers for you all.

Our thoughts, prayers and love are with you all. Doug was a great man, he loved his family and was dedicated to helping others. I remember great times spent camping with Doug helping us girl scouts learn to work as a team to build campfires, and pitch tents. He will be in our hearts forever.

So glad I had the chance to get to know the Schultz family and the love that Doug had for his family was beyond measure! Doug was just a great person and I know he will be watching over his family! My prayers are you all.

So many things to say but it boils down to I am going to miss you so much. It's just not fair you had to go so soon. I will miss your shoulder to cry on, your jokes, being able to call you when I need help fixing something and will always think of you when the light bulbs burn out. You were so brave all the way and I will never forget that. Please watch over us from time to time - when you aren't catching the big fish. Please keep a special eye on Tony; you were the world to him. I love you...

Mechelle, Tony and family - So sorry for your loss. I know you have lots of great memories to fill your heart with his love forever. My love and prayers to your family.
