Douglas and Lydia bought 2590 Divisidero St. from the late Dr. Frank and Martha Gerbode, who, with Countess de Tessau of the City of Paris family at 2724 Pacific Ave. bought, tore down and subdivide my Grandparents' mansion at 2716 Pacific Ave. when Grandmother passed in 1966. Only the driveway remains from the 1906 property. I knew the Divisidero home well, but only corresponded with Doug. My heart goes out to Lydia and the family for the loss.
