Sorry to hear of your loss. He was a great man and will certainly be missed by many. He left quite a trademark in St Louis and inspired a lot of young lives over the years.

Mr. Steward was definitely a very big man but had a huge heart. He was my 8th Grade Girls Basketball Coach in 1988 which was the year he retired. I couldn't believe when we would practice that he would actually have us do football type workouts. Well, what he did certainly worked as we were undefeated that year. I'll never forget we played against Breckenridge and it was so close. We went back and forth and we won by two points. Couch Steward actually picked up one of our girls because...
