Not sure what to say?

Doug was my shop teacher at William Monroe High at the end of my senior year he took 3 of us to the state FFA contest I room with him he was a great man

Doug was a good friend to my husband, Edward Scharer. He was an excellent Farm Bureau Representative and encouraged Ed to work with the organization. I will remember him fondly.

I'm a longtime member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, where Doug's father, Ralph, served as our organist/choirmaster many years ago. I am sorry to learn of Doug's passing. This morning in church, I asked for prayers of comfort for Doug's family.

So sorry to hear of Doug's passing. Sending prayers to his family. I grew up with Doug in Palmyra, VA with many school related memories. Donna Pace Wills

I am so very sorry to hear of Doug´s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you. We grew up family friends and spent many dinners etc together. He was a very fine man and I pray for God´s love and peace to be with through these times ahead without him, but know that Fluvanna county shares your loss.

Debbie I am sorry to hear the news about Doug. I have nothing but the fondest memories of Doug being my Ag teacher in High School. I always admired him with the highest respect. May God be with You and the Girls.

Debbie, I am sorry to hear of your loss. May God be with you and the girls.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I worked with Doug at Virginia Farm Bureau for many years. I can still see him at annual dinner meetings or helping me with county leadership. My heart aches for your family. I understand your loss. Praying that our heavenly Father covers you with comfort and peace.
