TISHLER, Douglas N. Died peacefully at his home in Brookline on December 4, 2022, at the age of 77. He is survived by his loving brother and sister-in-law, Gerry and Beth Tishler; his nephews, Carl Tishler and Ben Tishler and their children, Selina, Samzi, Stasha, Owen and Amos. Doug was also very close with his extended family of in-laws and cousins who remember him with great fondness for his kindness, attention to their needs and steadfast love. Doug's friends were treasured by him, especially Beatriz Alba delRio. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him. Services will be at Levine Chapel, 470 Harvard Street, BROOKLINE, on Friday, December 9 at 10:00 AM. Burial to follow at Temple Israel Cemetery, Wakefield. Shiva will be on Friday from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm at the home of Beth and Gerry Tishler. To livestream the service, please go to the Levine Chapel's website for the link. Gerry & Beth:
I am so sorry to hear about Doug's passing. I knew Doug when we were youngsters and we went to overnight camp together in the mid 50's. When I was last in Boston 9 years ago, Doug organized a reunion for me with Bubbles and a bunch of my parents' friends who were all at Orchard Cove. My mother, Polly Rogers, was a close friend of Bubbles.
