I'm very sorry to hear about the passing of Doug. He and I played football together. I was a right end and he was a tackle. I think about him often. We were very sorry to hear about Doug. Both Bonnie and I were classmates with Doug at Waverly High School. Doug and I were first string defensive line. He played tackle and I was guard. I have many fond memories of those days. We were also on the wrestling team together. Doug was a great guy and I'm sure he will be missed by his family and many friends! So sorry and saddened to hear of your loss. I went to school with Doug-- Class of 1969. I too remember him as the gentle giant and went back to my yearbook today after reading it in the Lincoln paper. Awww so many fond memories of those happy days of high school. So sorry to hear of your great loss. I hold fond memories of working with or near Doug at the Lee's Summit Pfizer facility for 13 years, his patient and mild demeanor, and his love for family and his home state of Nebraska.

Doug will be missed by many. I am truly sorry for your loss. We worked together at Pfizer-Animal Health for four years and I came to know Doug as a very caring, gentle man. He did love his Huskers and his children as he talked of them. Many fond memories for me.

I worked with Doug at Pfizer in Lee's Summit. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I had just received email from him last Friday but had not yet responded. He will be missed.
