A professional and great person. Miss him.

i still miss doc! the only one where the mold was cracked after making him one. no other replacements for him either. he had passed down the practice carefully to his predecessor, insuring good flight surgeon skills and personality. now on a generation two replacement, i am still happy his legacy carries on. regardless. i still miss you doc!

the BEST flight surgeon in south Florida! you are truly missed and still talked about. that is a legacy! your replacement, who you broke in so well has also passed away suddenly. your third generation flight surgeon is also pretty good. doc, you still live on.

Only in rare ocassions one can meet a person as wonderfulll and profesional as Dr. Perraud. sure miss him.

I still remember when he was with a pilot (patient?) for too long, the office manager / nurse would blow a wooden train whistle to speed things up. Once I brought my own train whistle, and it created lot's of laughter among the waiting pilots.

My last FAA physical with Dr George was 5 Dec 2013, a few months before his passing. I remember his son brought him to the office. My first FAA physical with him was 5 Jan 2004.

I am going to miss the political conversations. Thank you for encouraging me to continue my flying career and not give up.

For many years, I received my FAA medical from Dr. George (as he was known in the South Florida aviation community). On one occasion – specifically 20 Dec 1995, just a day after a Chalks Ocean Airways Turbine Mallard crashed (due to fatigue of the main spar with all souls lost) after taking-off from the Miami Harbor shipping channel, he told me that just a few days earlier he had given a physical to one of the pilots. George and his brother Bob were both great doctors. They served Ft. L very well for many years. They never seemed to have an enemy. God Bless both of them.

this is one guy who i will miss. he had an impact on my life not only as my FAA ME, just shooting the breeze and solving the world's problems (and some of mine) until his nurse would beat on the door reminding doc that he has more people to see. i suspect she has a disability claim for repeated hand impacts to that same door several times daily! because of him, i don't want to retire either. doc is the inspiration to keep driving on into your nighties just like he did loving life and...
