Not sure what to say?

Joe, you must be pulling the strings up there....the Phils and Eagles keep winning. Keep working your magic. Unfortunately golf will never be the same without the home and away summer member guest events.....but our Streak lives on ......

Joe is smiling up in heaven. The Phillies made the playoffs and the Eagles are undefeated . I really miss our annual home and away golf events. I still count on Joe's advice to navigate the many challenges in academic medicine . He was one of a kind ! My very best to his family and friends.

Just found out about Joe. He was a great doctor and outstanding mind. I always loved speaking with him, he always taught me something.

Dr. Seltzer was always supportive and fair as my chairman while always expecting excellence. I was so well prepared for taking care of any patient. He cared for my personal wellbeing. I am so sad that I never thanked him for believing in me and sending me on my way to a long, happy career. He was so matter -of-fact about my abilities that he made me believe in myself. So sad for your loss.

Dr Joseph Seltzer was a scholar and visionary. He respected those who wanted to work hard to reach the top, irregardless of their race or sex. I thank God for Dr Seltzer, who saw my drive, good characteristics and offered me a fighting chance.
I successfully completed the anesthesia residency program that he chaired in 1989. Peace and blessings to his family.

Dear Sue and Family,
Rich and I were surprised and very saddened to hear about Joe’s death. We can only imagine what a huge loss this is for you and your family. You are in our thoughts. We send you our deepest sympathy.

Joe was a long-time member of our Hawk´s Nest golf group. We will miss his good-natured approach to our shenanigans, but most of all we will his gentle spirit. My condolences to the family.

Joe was everything good and great that you could imagine in a Jefferson doctor. He excelled in so many realms yet he retained an air of humility and humor. His contributions are a testament to his talent, his commitment and his dedication. He will be missed.
