Not sure what to say?

I am very sorry to hear of Phil's death. I was a classmate of his in Indianola. He was a very fine person. I was also in Portales attending class at Eastern New Mexico with him. Jon Rinehart

Prayers to the family! I remember Doc having this excaliber car he was really proud of and would talk to us kids about how fast it was. Joking around i told him that our dually pickup would out run that thing he would laugh. I love you Dad.... I will miss you for the rest of my life. You helped me navigate every difficult situation and were my biggest cheerleader. If I ever needed advice, you were my go to. It's because of you that I don't make excuses, try to find positives in everything, put family first, have faith in God, never give up, help those less fortunate, take risks, learn new things and follow my heart. I will miss your wisdom, your smile, your laugh, your hugs, your voice, your support, your...

When our kids were growing up, we spent every weekend at Conchas Lake. He gave us a few adjustments after water skiing falls. Some of the best memories of our lives, floating in our boats and watching all the kids swim and play.

We slow danced in a restaurant. There are lots of memories. When you care about someone, you want the best for them. I am so happy he found happiness with Diana. He was Phil never Doc to me. Two songs I´m thinking of. I will always love you the country version and Keeper of the Stars. Fly high Phil.

I am so sad in your loss. Doc. was one heck of a man always with a smile no matter what. My parents adored him as we all did !! Prayers for healing for Diana and family. Jody (Watson) Barnes

He was truly one of a kind and a huge reason I am the person I am today. I am so thankful for everything my Uncle Phil did for me. Part of my heart is with him in heaven now. Until we meet again...
