Not sure what to say?

Thinking of you, Drayton.... and of you, Wayne and of her beloved Boys.... the whole Valley misses you. Caroline Rider, Smith '71, NYU Law '74, early Hudson River Heritage director.... we had so much in common!

To the Family of Drayton Grant; working with Drayton was an ease; Drayton your name comes up often in this planning board office; your work on projects was effortless strategic and asset; can't phantom you have been gone this long; know you touched my heart and work ethics in so many ways. I'm grateful to have had the honor to work with you; see you in the stars ! xo

Drayton Grant, it was an honor working with you at the Town of Shawangunk Planning Board; you were a great mentor and I learned a lot; you have come up in conversation many times since your passing; you are still remembered and well respected. With sincere kindness Robin Kaufmann

Wayne,

I just found out about your wife's passing. I am so sorry for you and your sons. She must have been a remarkable person from reading her obituary.

We lost a brilliant lady, friend. It was a privilege and honor to work with her at the Town of Shawangunk Planning Board. My thoughts are with her family

So sorry to hear of Drayton's passing today. Although I knew her only briefly through work for the Town of Woodstock, I felt like I had met a kindred spirit & only wish I could have known her better. My deepest sympathies to her family & friends.

Wayne, Nate, and Sam -- I just this minute found out that Drayton is gone....I am SO sorry....I've known Drayton since we did an English seminar together at Smith...I think it was on Henry James....and then as a colleague and fellow preservationist. It is shocking that she has gone so early. Her warmth and energy will be missed. Take care.
Caroline Rider

With sincere sympathy to her family and friends. I had the pleasure of communicating with her a few times and she impressed me by being the remarkable women she is. She will be truly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and loved ones.

Our most sincere sympathies go out to you Wayne, to you Sam, and to you, Nate. We are all so sad to hear this news. Drayton was always so warm to all of us whenever we got together at family events. It is so impressive to read about her dedication to environmental law and her many accomplishments and contributions. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of grief.
