Not sure what to say?

To the Guerry family:
As a young child, I visited Dr. Guerry many times over the years growing up, attending his beautiful office on Monument Avenue with my younger brother, Mother taking us to the big city from rural Hanover. Dr. Guerry was my opthalmologist for more than twenty years. The last time I saw him as a patient, I was a pre-med student at VCU, living in one of his rental properties, and he kindly gave me a discount. Dr. Guerry was indeed a gentleman. My family forwarded me...

I trained under Dr. Guerry from 1962 to 1965. He was a great teacher and fine gentleman. I remember the stories about his career he often told. He had a great sense of humor. He will be missed. Please accept my sincere condolences.

Sally & family-DuPont will be missed
by a great number of people in the
Richmond area. It is difficult to
find the words to express our sorrow for your loss. Our families shared some good times over the years and we will always have the fond memories.

Dear Mary - My sincere condolences to you and your entire family. I am also a former Strawderman girl who remembers you well.

My deepest sympathy to the family. I am now 54 years old and Dr. Guerry operated on my eye when I was six years old, correcting my ailment which allows me to lead a full and very productive life. For this I am foever grateful.

My Thoughts and prayers are with the Guerry family. I did not know Dr. Guerry but was a friend of Mary's many years ago at Camp Strawderman. Mary, I wanted you to know that I was thinking about you.

Deepest sympathy to the family. My father was a patient of Dr. Guerry, I attended church with the family and summer camp with his daughter, Mary. He was a dear man, with a wonderful family.

Sincerest condolences to the entire Guerry family, including my old camp friend Mary.

Such a lovely man.
