Dear Dwayne! Dear brother!
Intense grief fills my heart, for you left us so unexpectatly and so early. Like many times before, I was planning to visit with you up in your cabin last February, but could not make it because of Corona. Now I will not even be able to say good by to you in person, as we are still in a lockdown. I will alwlays cherish your friendship, which started 50 years ago and be thankful for it, and I also will always remember the good times we and our families had...

My heart goes out to each of you for the tragic loss of Dwayne. He was an inspiration, mentor, friend, and counselor to many people throughout his life and will be missed beyond description. He brought so much laughter to everyone he met - laughter was his choice of medicine for everything. His love of and for his family was immeasurable - his children and grandchildren were his true joy!
I'm grateful I had the opportunity to know him.
