Not sure what to say?

Joan -
I just heard of Steve's passing from my cousins Tom and Mary Ann. One google search and I found this - my thoughts are with you, Joan, and I am glad I had the opportunity to meet Steve, a revered man and judge.

My mother was best friends with Doris Wallace growing up. I just found out that Doris passed on March 28th,2009. The cousins will be sadly missed by Jane Majka.

Joan
I am so sorry for your loss. I will keep you in my prayers.

I was saddened to learn of the passing of my old and dear friend, and running-mate (1967), Steve Fluharty. As a judge, he possessed a brilliant and demanding mind, and he required professionalism, preparedness and punctuality in all who appeared before him. Beside that, he was a good guy. Rest in Peace, Steve

Steve, Liz, Steven and Laura

You all are in my prays throughout this difficult time.

Joan: I was so sorry to hear of the Judge's passing. Although, I didn't know him, I've heard so many wonderful stories from those who knew him well. I will keep you in my prayers. Having lost my husband Larry last year, I know how hard this is for you.

Steve, Liz, Laura & Steven:

My condolences go out to you and your family with the passing of the Judge. I recall fond memories of interacting with him. Please extend my best wishes to Sherri, Mike and Lynn and their families.

I tried my first jury trial before Judge Fluharty 25 years ago or so. He was very helpful to younger lawyers, both when you were on-track and off. I enjoyed working with him, and will remember his legacy. To Joan and family, I am sorry for your loss.

Sherry and family, I'm sorry to hear about your loss.
